NDIS Pricing Changes July 1st 2024

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) has announced changes to the NDIS pricing model, which will take effect from July 1st, 2024. These changes are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the NDIS provider market and ensure the sustainability of the scheme.

What does this mean for you?

  • Your NDIS Plan: Your existing NDIS plan balance will be automatically indexed and adjusted to accommodate the new pricing.

  • No Changes to Supports: You will continue to receive the same supports and services from AkinCare.

  • Billing Updates: The only change you will experience is in the billing for your services, which will be aligned with the new NDIS price guide.

Examples of Pricing Changes:

These are just a few examples, and the specific changes to your billing will depend on the types of supports you receive.

Our commitment to you

At AkinCare, we are committed to transparent communication and supporting you through this transition. We encourage you to:

  • Talk to Us: Discuss any questions or concerns with your AkinCare support coordinator, or other relevant support contact.

  • Visit the NDIS Website: For more detailed information, visit the NDIS website for the price guide

We understand that any changes can be unsettling, but we want to assure you that we are here to help you understand and adapt to these new pricing arrangements. Thank you for your continued trust in AkinCare.
